BUDDING MANAGERS FROM IMT, GHAZIABAD @ NTU, SINGAPORE FOR GLOBAL IMMERSION PROGRAMME

Institute of Management Technology, a well renowned group of institutions signed a MoU with Corporate Gurukul to conduct Short Term Exchange Programme (STEP) in association with Nanyang Business School and industry partners in Singapore.

The programme has been specifically designed for executive management students who aspire to embark on a global career.

Corporate Gurukul meticulously designed and delivered a 2-weeks Global Immersion Programme (GIP) at Singapore for Executive MBA participants, Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, a leading management institution in India. For IMT, an institution which strives for excellence in leadership, entrepreneurial talent, and research, Corporate Gurukul’s Global Immersion Programme was an integrated part of curriculum.

Students of Executive MBA course had immense experiential learning through Global Immersion Programme, which had three aspects:

1. Global Leadership Programme Participants attended sessions of world-class faculty on

  • Corporate Leadership
  • Entrepreneurial Leadership
  • Societal Leadership
 

They gathered insights about various aspects of leadership like realizing the vision, coordinating and balancing the conflicting interests, and developing ability to think creatively in difficult situations to be a world-class leader.

2. An eye on visit and interaction:

Participants visited

  • Land Transport Authority- Understanding strategy and implementation of surface transport in Singapore
  • Urban Redevelopment Authority – Designing, planning and execution of a SMART city
  • Tiger Beer factory – Understanding indigenous process of beer production supported by superior technology
 

3. Discussion with Industry Experts

Participants also had insightful discussions with industry experts from reputed companies like

  • IBM – Deploying mission-critical applications that deliver significant business benefits using cloud computing
  • Procter & Gamble – Aligning marketing efforts with corporate goals and objectives
  • Unilever Limited – Branding in Asia
  • Facebook Asia –Applying Digital Media for Personal Branding
 

Corporate Gurukul will conduct Global Immersion Programme for management students of IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur, IMT Hyderabad and IMT Dubai.
