CORPORATE GURUKUL CONDUCTS OVERSEAS IMMERSION PROGRAMME (OIP) FOR NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC, SINGAPORE

28 students and 2 faculty members from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore were a part of the Overseas Immersion Programme (OIP) conducted in NIT, Rourkela. The month long programme comprised of educational and cultural immersion across India. The students hailing from ICT background underwent training on ‘IT Outsourcing’ at NIT, Rourkela. They studied the IT deployment framework of NIT, Rourkela besides the concepts of outsourcing. Software engineering module outlined application of engineering to the design, development, and maintenance of software.
The students had a very interactive session with Prof. Sunil Sarangi, Director, NIT, Rourkela. Prof. Sarangi said “I am very happy to record that the firm has provided excellent service in organizing the programme. They have taken care of the finest details and made the programme better every year.”
As a part of their cultural experience, the team enjoyed Indian festivals of Holi and specially arranged Diwali, visit to Amer fort, Jaipur and Taj Mahal, Agra, Sun Temple, Konark and beaches of Odisha. The faculty of institute took classes for the students to apprise them of Indian culture and practices. Many recreational activities balanced the rigorous training sessions. Swimming, Basketball and cricket match was organized by the student committee at NIT, Rourkela. Ngee Ann Poly students also loved authentic Indian food and street markets.

Corporate Gurukul is OIP partner of Ngee Ann Polytechnic for Immersion programmes to India and has been conducting Immersion programmes for the last 3 years. The delivery efficiency and professionalism of Corporate Gurukul has been praised by IHLs all over.
