The Campus Connect programme had been developed by Infosys, India’s #2 IT company, in response to a growing belief among India’s IT industry majors that the large number of fresh graduates they were looking to recruit from engineering colleges were neither readily employable nor sufficiently industry-ready.

Infosys launched the programme in May 2004 with 70 colleges. By May 2008, the model had been sufficiently scaled up to cover 200 colleges, and more than 100,000 students and 4,300 faculty members across India had benefited from the programme’s technical and soft-skills training, and exposure to industry practices.

Corporate Gurukul’s trainers attended the Train-The -Trainer (TTT) session and signed the partnership on 26th May, 2008. The focus initially will be to train, assess and certify students in colleges across eastern India.
