CORPORATE GURUKUL TURNS SEVEN!

Corporate Gurukul celebrates its seventh anniversary on 26th November, 2014.

This day in 2007, Corporate Gurukul was founded in Singapore. A year later, the India operations had a humble beginning in the founder’s home in Rourkela, India.

Rajesh Panda, founder of Corporate Gurukul, reminisces – “India operations started in my parents’ house in Rourkela, Odisha. We trained over 120 students in 8 months, most of them from my alma mater NIT, Rourkela. All of them got the jobs they aspired for. The response was overwhelming and we set our eyes on a pan India presence.”

Seven years later, Corporate Gurukul is among the most recognized organizations in the skills development industry and with its India headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Since Corporate Gurukul’s inception, the company has experienced impressive year-over-year growth, and worked with top MNCs like Infosys, L&T and Wipro among others, state governments and top educational institutes in India. It has trained over 138,000 graduates on distinctive skills that make them globally competitive professionals.

Corporate Gurukul is a pioneer in the Global Immersion Programme (GIP) for Indian universities and state governments. We partnered with one of the best universities in the world, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore for the GIP.

In the journey forward, we plan to focus on our flagship Global Immersion Programme (GIP) across India. The Graduate Employability Programme (GEP) will be delivered with strategic industry partners in relevant domains. We also look forward to helping governments, corporates and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) in improving their organizational efficiency through exposure to world’s best practices in relevant domains.
