Postponement of Summer 2020 programmes
March 21st, 2020
We appreciate the community that has come together around the world to contain this pandemic. The COVID-19 that has plagued this world, is rapidly spreading. Currently, the health and safety of our employees and students is our highest priority.
We are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation around-the-clock and are trying our best to minimize the risk of the summer programmes at National University of Singapore (NUS). The current situation in Singapore remains calm and under control. Universities and schools continue to function as usual without any disruption.
However, given the worldwide outbreak in March, it is difficult to predict how our scheduled summer programmes will be impacted over the next few weeks. (due to disruptions in school/ university schedules in India, USA, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Sri Lanka and other countries where the majority of our students come from). We can assure you that your well-being and safety will remain our top priority in every decision we make.
In this climate of uncertainty, we know travelling abroad might also be a fear, but if there is any country which has and continues to combat this pandemic and come out stronger - it is Singapore!
We thank you in advance for putting your trust in us as you plan to enrol in our summer programmes.
We are in active touch with all concerned authorities and will promptly update you on changes, if any, to the programme dates. Please keep an eye out for further communication from us to remain updated on the situation.
