VITIANS EXPERIENCE IMMERSIVE LEARNING

Engineering undergraduate participants of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), Pune, a top ranked private institute in India, visited Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore for a month-long Global Immersion Programme which was included as an integral part of their 2nd Semester curriculum.
Participants experienced:
1. World- Class PEDAGOGY Lectures delivered by NTU faculty and completed following electives:
- Differential & Integral Calculus
- Linear Algebra & Random variables
- Computer Programming
- Engineering Graphics
2. Industry sponsored labs Participants had exposure to several innovations and were made aware of latest cutting edge technology with its practical approach.
3. Industrial Visits Asia been a hub of multi-national companies inspiring creative minds and new ideas, making Singapore, the city of startups, boosted the entrepreneurial aspirations of participants as they had visits to Newater, Land Transport Authority, and Urban Redevelopment Authority. They had insightful discussions with industry experts.
4. A unique international culture These immersive experiences made participants live life of a SMART native in a SMART city which achieved its position from third world to first. The immersion programme has been a catalyst adding valuable inputs to the social and cross-cultural quotient of participants as it enabled them to experience the spirit of Asia. And cherry on top of the cake! Participants visited Night safari, Universal Studios, Sentosa, and Taichi training – which tested their physical endurance.
